We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Channel Partner Manager to join our dynamic Financial Institutions Channel team. This role is pivotal in building and scaling a distribution network where financial institutions, including venture capital firms and banks, recognize Ramp as the premier provider of corporate card and expense management solutions for their clients and investments. You will be instrumental in establishing and growing bespoke practice areas, distributing Ramp’s innovative platform through strategic partnerships with banks, lenders, and scaled technology partners.
- • As a Senior Partner Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating and nurturing deep partner relationships, expertly negotiating and closing complex commercial agreements, and orchestrating seamless go-to-market rollouts. Your primary objective will be to drive Ramp’s channel goals by achieving scaled distribution. This requires a proactive approach to identifying and building robust relationships with multiple key stakeholders within each financial institution, from relationship managers to executive leadership.
- • Success in this role necessitates strong cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with internal teams across marketing, growth, direct sales, product, and engineering. This collaboration is crucial for developing co-marketing opportunities, ensuring smooth onboarding of new clients, and providing valuable feedback to inform our product roadmap, ensuring it continues to meet and exceed the evolving needs of our partners and their clients.
- • You will be expected to become a true expert in Ramp’s product suite, its advanced features, and its intuitive workflows. This deep understanding will enable you to effectively articulate the benefits and solutions Ramp offers, positioning it as the indispensable financial operations platform for businesses of all sizes.
- • The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record of success in business development, partnerships, or sales within the financial services or technology sectors. You should be adept at consultative selling, with a keen ability to uncover client pain points and present tailored solutions. A history of consistently exceeding targets and quotas is essential, demonstrating your drive and effectiveness. You must be dedicated to meticulously tracking and continuously improving your performance and efficiency on a daily basis.
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with excellent active listening abilities, are paramount for building rapport and trust with partners. A pronounced bias for action and an enthusiastic desire to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment are critical. Furthermore, you must be a strong cross-functional collaborator, capable of building and maintaining positive relationships across all departments within Ramp.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of financial operations for thousands of businesses by expanding Ramp's reach through strategic financial partnerships. You will be at the forefront of innovation, helping companies save time and money while empowering them to grow.
