• • As an AI Tutor - Chemistry Specialist at xAI Corporation, you will play a critical role in advancing artificial intelligence systems designed to understand complex scientific domains, particularly chemistry, by providing expert-level input, annotations, and feedback that directly train and refine AI models. Your work will bridge deep chemical knowledge with cutting-edge machine learning, enabling AI to assist in scientific discovery, education, and innovation across industries.
• • You will use proprietary software to label and curate high-quality data in text, audio, and video formats, solve advanced chemistry problems aligned with your expertise, collaborate with engineers to improve annotation tools, and ensure the accuracy and relevance of training data for emerging AI tasks—contributing directly to the performance and reliability of xAI’s next-generation models.

• • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: using proprietary software to provide precise input and labels on chemistry-related projects; ensuring the delivery of high-quality, curated datasets that meet rigorous standards for AI training; collaborating with technical staff to refine and enhance the design of efficient annotation tools; selecting and solving complex problems from specialized chemistry subdomains such as organic, physical, analytical, inorganic, computational, polymer, nuclear, or medicinal chemistry to guide AI model improvement; regularly interpreting, analyzing, and executing tasks based on evolving instructions in a fast-paced, adaptive environment; and actively contributing to the training of new AI tasks by working closely with engineers to support the development and implementation of cutting-edge initiatives in scientific AI.
