📋 Description
- • Enter new claims into the Claim System via telephone, fax, email, and mail
- • Research new losses using various programs to gather necessary data for claim handling
- • Assign claim files to adjusters as directed by Claim Managers
- • Maintain property damage files, including sending notifications to claimants, adverse carriers, and insurance agents
- • Assist with covering phones at the front desk when needed
- • Perform other duties as assigned by management
- • Demonstrate strong customer service skills when interacting with claimants and internal teams
- • Type at a speed of 40–45 words per minute to ensure timely data entry
- • Communicate clearly and professionally through both verbal and written channels
- • Build and maintain professional relationships across all organizational levels
- • Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- • Adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic workplace with shifting priorities
- • Multi-task effectively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- • Exhibit strong organizational skills and excellent time management
- • Follow up consistently on tasks and documentation to ensure completeness
- • Utilize basic computer and data entry skills to navigate claim systems and digital tools
- • Handle sensitive claims information with confidentiality and compliance
- • Support claim adjusters by providing administrative and logistical assistance to expedite claim resolution
- • Ensure all claim documentation is accurately recorded and properly filed
- • Remain flexible in workload distribution and task assignments based on operational needs
- • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding claims processing and data handling
- • Participate in training or orientation as required to maintain system proficiency
- • Comply with all security and privacy protocols for applicant and claimant information
- • Maintain a drug-free and professional work environment in alignment with company standards
