- • The Client Services Business Analyst, Medicaid Fee-for-Service III role is critical to MedImpact’s mission of optimizing healthcare value through innovative pharmacy benefit management solutions, acting as a bridge between client needs and technical implementation to ensure systems support operational excellence and client satisfaction.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to design and implement business system solutions, translating requirements into functional specifications, developing queries for data analysis, creating and maintaining documentation and project plans, participating in service request lifecycle management, and ensuring timely, accurate delivery of solutions that meet client expectations while promoting continuous improvement.

- • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in Medicaid fee-for-service systems, PBM operations, and healthcare technology integration; develop advanced analytical and consulting skills; gain exposure to enterprise-level system implementations; and contribute directly to service excellence initiatives while building credibility as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and external clients.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university and four (4) years of Business System Analysis experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), Pharmacy, Managed Healthcare, or a similar role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- • Prior work experience supporting CMS initiatives, preferably with Medicaid programs (State FFS, Medicare/Medicaid Program (MMP), or Medicaid Managed Care (MMCO)).
- • Strong proficiency with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Outlook) and working knowledge of key business applications including SQL coding, Oracle forms, Golden 32, MedOptimize, and UNIX operating systems.
- • Ability to effectively balance high work volume, prioritize urgent issues, and demonstrate strong analytic, verbal, and written communication skills, with detail orientation, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- • Ability to solve practical problems, interpret instructions in various formats, work with mathematical concepts (probability, statistical inference, fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions), and present information effectively to diverse audiences.
