  • • As a Client Success Manager (CSM), you will be instrumental in cultivating and maintaining robust relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients, encompassing both established partners and new accounts. Your primary focus will be ensuring their utmost success and satisfaction with Lantern's innovative products and services.
  • • You will serve as a trusted advisor, working collaboratively with clients and their brokers/consultants. This involves deeply understanding their unique needs, optimizing their engagement with our platform, and maximizing the value they derive from our solutions.
  • • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans tailored to each client's strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with Lantern's growth and retention goals.
  • • Conduct regular business reviews to showcase client progress, identify areas for enhancement, and reinforce the value proposition of Lantern's services.
  • • Drive overall customer satisfaction, which is paramount to achieving high rates of customer retention, fostering organic growth, and cultivating strong client advocacy.
  • • Manage client communication for critical engagement marketing initiatives. This includes overseeing open enrollment events, coordinating informative webinars, managing direct mail campaigns, and contributing to compelling case studies that highlight client success.
  • • Collaborate effectively across various internal departments, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment to deliver a unified and exceptional client experience.
  • • Proactively ensure that company and client objectives, expectations, and goals are consistently met and exceeded.
  • • Support Client Executives in their efforts to maximize client retention and proactively identify potential churn risks. Simultaneously, you will identify and pursue upsell and expansion opportunities within your client portfolio.
  • • Maintain meticulous data input and ensure high data hygiene within our customer relationship management (CRM) system for all assigned clients, providing accurate insights for strategic decision-making.
  • • Take prompt and appropriate action to resolve any service issues that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining client trust.
  • • You will be responsible for managing client and broker/consultant relationships throughout the entire client lifecycle, ensuring consistent communication and actively soliciting feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • • Communicate with exceptional clarity and conciseness, both verbally and in writing. You will demonstrate strong time management and prioritization skills to effectively juggle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
  • • Embrace a collaborative team environment, working seamlessly with colleagues across the organization to achieve shared goals and contribute to a positive company culture.
  • • You are expected to take initiative, demonstrate ownership of your accounts, and thrive in an environment that embraces and navigates ambiguity.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • • 5+ years of experience in client relationship and/or account management, preferably within the employee benefits, healthcare, or consulting industry, with experience in a startup environment being a significant advantage.
  • • Willingness to travel up to 20% for client meetings and industry events.
  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with Salesforce CRM. SharePoint experience is a plus.
