Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Be the clinical voice of Cochlear across the East of England and Ireland, transforming the lives of people with hearing loss by ensuring they receive the world’s most advanced implantable hearing solutions. You will own the full clinical-commercial relationship with key hospitals, ENT departments, and audiology centres, driving adoption of Baha, Osia and Cochlear Implant (CI) technologies.
  • • Own and expand a strategic portfolio of hearing-implant centres, translating clinical insight into measurable business growth. Using Miller Heiman methodology and Salesforce CRM, you will map decision-makers, identify whitespace opportunities, and create quarterly account plans that increase implant volumes, shorten referral pathways and secure long-term contracts with NHS Trusts, private hospital groups and HSE facilities.
  • • Deliver expert audiological support that clinicians trust. From theatre-side troubleshooting during a tricky electrode insertion to remote software upgrades for a busy paediatric clinic, you will be the go-to resource for product training, fitting optimisation and evidence-based best practice. You will run hands-on workshops, lunch-and-learns and live surgical observations that lift clinical confidence and improve patient outcomes.
  • • Champion new-product roll-outs and post-market surveillance. Partner with R&D, Regulatory and Marketing to introduce next-generation sound processors, surgical tools and fitting software into live clinics. Collect real-world evidence, feed user insights back to global teams and ensure every centre meets Cochlear’s stringent quality and compliance standards.
  • • Design and execute customer education programmes that build a sustainable Key Opinion Leader (KOL) pipeline. Identify rising audiologists and surgeons, mentor them through Cochlear’s professional development courses, and showcase their success stories at national ENT and audiology congresses. Your efforts will create a virtuous cycle of advocacy and referral growth.
  • • Collaborate daily with Surgical Account Managers to align surgical and audiological strategies. Jointly prepare for procurement tenders, present unified value propositions to hospital boards and coordinate multidisciplinary case reviews that demonstrate the lifetime cost-effectiveness of implantable hearing solutions.
  • • Leverage data to drive smarter decisions. Analyse referral patterns, surgical conversion rates and follow-up compliance metrics to uncover bottlenecks. Translate findings into targeted action plans that increase patient flow, reduce waiting lists and improve the overall patient journey from candidacy to lifelong care.
  • • Represent Cochlear at regional and national forums, including BAA, BSA, ENT-UK and CIICA events. Deliver podium presentations, moderate panels and publish clinical case studies that position Cochlear as the undisputed thought leader in implantable hearing care.
  • • Live our HEAR values—Honesty, Excellence, Accountability, Respect—in every interaction. Whether you are calming an anxious parent pre-surgery or negotiating a multi-year service agreement with a procurement director, your integrity and empathy will reinforce Cochlear’s reputation as a partner that healthcare professionals trust with their most complex cases.
  • • Enjoy the autonomy of a fully remote, field-based role while staying connected to a high-performing UK&I team. Plan your diary around patient clinics, theatre lists and strategic meetings, using home-office resources and cutting-edge digital tools to maximise face-time with customers and minimise travel fatigue.
