- • The Clinical Business Solutions Analyst formulates and defines business scope and objectives through research and fact-finding, combining business and industry understanding to support healthcare technology solutions.
- • Performs functional analysis, requirements definition, application module configuration, testing, prototyping, data mapping, function mapping, and configuration of transaction/control tables to enable system functionality.
- • Identifies and resolves gaps in business processes, conducts security/authorization setup, user documentation, data interface design, data migration, reconciliation, and supports installation, tuning, archiving, and light scripting for application needs.
- • Acts as a primary liaison between infrastructure teams and internal/external customers, managing relationships, marshalling resources, and providing production support, troubleshooting, deployment planning, and implementation of new applications or system integrations.
- • Researches, recommends, and designs new technologies and enhancements, provides consulting advice on system capabilities, and applies technical understanding to make practical contributions to moderately complex IT work within Mercy departments.
- • Requires detail orientation, innovation in problem-solving, and experience in clinical systems including implementation, support, configuration, and optimization.
- • Works remotely full-time with Mercy Health, contributing to healthcare innovation through technology and compassion in a mission-driven environment focused on excellent patient care.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
- • Two (2) years of relevant technical or business work experience
- • Experience in clinical systems including implementations, support, configuration, or optimization
- • Proficiency in functional analysis, requirements definition, data mapping, and application configuration
- • Ability to perform light programming or scripting to support application functionality
- • Strong understanding of business processes and flows to enable effective solution development
