Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • • As a Clinical Implementation Lead at Clarium LLC, you will be at the forefront of transforming healthcare operations by driving the adoption of our cutting-edge AI-powered platform, Card Optimizer. Your primary mission will be to serve as the crucial clinical operations partner for our health system clients, guiding them through the successful implementation and sustained utilization of our innovative solutions. This role is designed for an individual with profound, hands-on experience in perioperative workflows and preference card management, possessing the unique ability to translate this deep understanding into lasting technology adoption and operational excellence.
  • • You will be instrumental in assessing each client's current-state preference card workflows, meticulously examining how these cards are built, maintained, and governed. Based on this assessment, you will define and champion a future-state model that seamlessly integrates with and leverages the full capabilities of Card Optimizer. This involves a collaborative approach, partnering closely with clinical stakeholders, including surgeons and OR directors, as well as supply chain teams, to validate that the platform-driven workflows are not only theoretically sound but also practically viable in real-world settings. This validation will extend across all critical touchpoints: within the operating room itself, at the case cart preparation stage, and throughout the necessary approval cycles.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will involve developing and executing tailored training pathways and adoption milestones. These will be meticulously designed to align with each health system's unique perioperative environment, the specific mix of their staff, and their established governance structures. You will be responsible for developing and delivering role-specific training programs that cater to the diverse needs of surgeons, OR nurses, perioperative educators, and supply chain staff. This training will focus on meeting individuals where they are in their understanding and building their confidence in adopting new, more efficient workflows. Your efforts will directly drive the frontline adoption of Card Optimizer's user-friendly, mobile-friendly tools, which enable one-click preference card review and approval, significantly streamlining existing processes.
  • • Post-go-live, you will continuously monitor utilization patterns, proactively identifying areas where adoption may be lagging. Your role will involve diagnosing the root causes of any adoption friction, whether it stems from workflow complexities, gaps in training, or resistance from key stakeholders, and then executing a robust plan to address and overcome these challenges. Building trusted, peer-level relationships with key clinical leaders is paramount. This includes surgeons, OR directors, perioperative nursing leaders, and clinical educators. You will facilitate engaging physician sessions, leveraging personalized savings scorecards, peer benchmarking data, and contract-aligned substitution recommendations. The goal is to frame the platform's value proposition in clinical terms, emphasizing its impact on patient care and surgical efficiency, rather than solely focusing on financial metrics.
  • • You will serve as the definitive subject matter expert on all aspects of preference card anatomy, including the intricacies of PRN (as needed) versus open item logic, the structure of pick lists, and the critical process of procedure card standardization. Furthermore, you will represent Clarium's clinical methodology in high-level executive conversations, engaging with Chief Nursing Officers, VPs of Surgical Services, and perioperative medical directors. Your expertise will also be invaluable in supporting the sales process, acting as a clinical credibility partner to help prospective clients fully grasp the implementation process from a workflow and adoption perspective. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering compelling, outcomes-focused presentations and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) content that clearly communicates adoption progress, highlights workflow improvements, and quantifies the realized value in terms that resonate with clinical leaders.
  • • As you gain experience across multiple engagements, you will play a key role in documenting workflows, refining training materials, and capturing lessons learned to build a robust, repeatable clinical implementation methodology. As Clarium's clinical practice scales, you will contribute to defining the model for onboarding and developing future Clinical Operational Leads, shaping the growth and evolution of the implementation team.
