📋 Description
- • The Clinical Practice Liaison – Psych, Texas role at Neurocrine Biosciences is a field-based position focused on building and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers, key opinion leaders, and patient advocacy groups to advance the company’s neuroscience portfolio in psychiatric and related therapeutic areas. This role is critical to ensuring that scientific and clinical insights are effectively communicated to support product education, medical affairs strategy, and patient access to innovative treatments.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and fostering relationships with local, regional, and national key opinion leaders (KOLs), engaging with professional organizations (e.g., APNA, AANN, GAPNA, AAPA, ASCP), collaborating with patient advocacy groups (e.g., MHA, NAMI), planning and executing educational programs, attending medical and nursing congresses, serving as a scientific resource for healthcare providers and internal teams, maintaining accurate records in the MSL System of Record, and ensuring compliance with FDA guidelines, Pharma Code, and healthcare SOPs.

- • In this role, the individual will develop deep expertise in psychiatric and neurological therapeutic areas, enhance skills in scientific communication and stakeholder engagement, gain experience in medical affairs and field-based operations within the pharmaceutical industry, and contribute meaningfully to patient education and healthcare provider outreach initiatives that support Neurocrine’s mission.
🎯 Requirements
- • Master’s degree, NP, CNS, PA or equivalent AND 4+ years of similar experience OR PhD, DNP, or PharmD degree AND 2+ years of similar experience
- • Therapeutic Area clinical expertise in Psychiatry, Neurology, or Long-Term Care (LTC)
- • Maintains advanced practice licensure and certification per individual state requirements
- • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills; strong communicator and skilled diplomat
- • Ability to build and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including HCPs, KOLs, and patient advocacy organizations
- • Ability to work independently and as part of or lead multiple teams; excellent organizational and project management skills

- • Annual base salary range of $160,900.00–$220,000.00
