- • Oversees the clinical contract portfolio to ensure clinical site budgets align with CPP benchmarks, global budget frameworks and data standards across portfolio and regional levels. Reviews and validates budget assumptions, tracks performance against benchmarks, identifies and addresses variances, enforces adherence to established guardrails. Coordinates with Contracts, Data Hub and Finance to maintain budget integrity, data accuracy and consistent execution. The Portfolio Manager enables faster negotiations by providing objective budget insights while preserving execution ownership within the Contracts team.
- • Leads advanced analysis of site budgets against CPP benchmarks and country guardrails; owns interpretation, maintenance, and continuous enhancement of the CPP library on behalf of Clinical Site Contracts team; identifies cost drivers, institutional pricing trends, and cross-study patterns; provides data-backed negotiation guidance to Contract Associates and Contract Managers; reviews and supports analysis of complex budget exceptions when escalated; aligns budget structures with Payments processes and GCO operational assumptions; develops dashboards and reporting to track budget consistency and cost trends; identifies strategically important institutions based on cost, performance, and partnership data; establishes and maintains quality control processes to ensure all final negotiated budgets are properly formatted, standardized and accurately ingested into the CPP Library; designs and implements standardized processes for ingestion of institutional and investigator budget data into the CPP library to ensure data integrity, completeness and usability.
