• • Be the architect of "Forever On!" reliability. As Cloud Administrator at T5 Data Centers you will own the end-to-end health of a hybrid estate that powers mission-critical workloads for Fortune-100 hyperscalers and global enterprises. Every alert you silence, every script you commit, and every migration you lead directly translates into 99.999 % uptime that keeps the digital economy humming.
• • Engineer and govern Azure at scale. You will design landing zones, policy guardrails, and cost-optimization strategies across dozens of subscriptions and multiple tenants. Daily tasks include configuring Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault, Policy, and Security Center to enforce least-privilege access, CIS benchmarks, and SOC-2 controls while keeping spend predictable.
• • Automate everything, repeat nothing. Using PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM, Bicep, and Terraform you will codify every repeatable process—from VM provisioning to storage lifecycle rules—so that environments can be spun up or torn down in minutes with full audit trails. Your IaC modules will become the golden templates used by internal DevOps teams and external customers alike.
• • Champion CI/CD and DevOps integration. You will embed with software squads to streamline build, test, and release pipelines in Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. Expect to containerize legacy .NET and Linux services with Docker, orchestrate them via AKS, and inject security scanning and compliance gates directly into pull-request workflows.
• • Master hybrid connectivity. You will extend on-premises vSphere, Hyper-V, XenServer, and HPE Morpheus clusters into Azure through ExpressRoute, VPN, and Azure Arc, ensuring seamless identity, DNS, and backup semantics. When a customer needs to burst 2,000 cores for a weekend batch job, you will have the blueprints ready.
• • Guard performance like a hawk. Implement unified observability with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana, and Prometheus. You will define SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets, create intelligent alerting that eliminates noise, and run quarterly capacity-planning exercises that forecast growth eighteen months ahead.
• • Secure the edge and the core. Harden Ubuntu and SUSE fleets with CIS hardening scripts, deploy Azure Update Management, and integrate Qualys or Rapid7 for continuous vulnerability assessment. When zero-days drop, you will orchestrate patching campaigns that hit 5,000+ hosts without a single customer-facing incident.
• • Migrate and modernize relentlessly. Lead lift-and-shift, refactor, and re-platform projects that move monolithic apps from on-prem cages to PaaS or SaaS targets. You will run discovery with Azure Migrate, build run-books, and cut over during 2 a.m. maintenance windows—always under change-management protocols.
• • Provide white-glove, 24×7 operational support. Join a follow-the-sun rotation where your calm voice and precise run-books turn Sev-1 outages into orderly restorations. You will document every action in the incident war-room and feed lessons learned back into automation to prevent recurrence.
• • Cultivate a culture of continuous learning. Host brown-bag sessions on new Azure features, mentor junior admins, and contribute to internal Wikis. At T5, your ideas for improving reliability, cost, or security are welcomed, funded, and celebrated.
