- • As a Cloud Engineer at Ferguson Enterprises, you will design, implement, support, and optimize enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments, playing a critical role in enabling reliable, secure, and scalable technology systems that support the company’s mission to build better infrastructure, homes, and businesses.
- • Day to day, you will design and deploy infrastructure solutions in Azure and on-premises environments, manage VMware virtualization platforms, administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers, support SQL Server and Oracle databases, monitor system health and performance, assist with networking tasks, lead ERP and data center migrations, develop documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including application owners, security, network, and project managers.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in hybrid cloud infrastructure, gain hands-on experience with enterprise-scale migrations, strengthen your cross-functional collaboration and documentation skills, and contribute to modernization initiatives that improve reliability, security, and operational efficiency across critical business systems.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in cloud/systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a similar IT operations role
- • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, identity integration, and monitoring
- • Strong experience with VMware vSphere or related virtualization technologies
- • Proven administration experience with both Linux and Windows Server operating systems
- • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database environments
- • Foundational understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and firewall coordination
