📋 Description
- • As a Cloud Financial Analyst (FinOps) at CSG Systems International, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing cloud financial strategies, directly supporting the company’s cloud cost efficiency and budget alignment across technical and business teams.
- • Day to day, you will create and maintain dashboards tracking cloud costs against forecast and budget, identify cost reduction opportunities through right-sizing, elasticity improvements, and cloud commitments (Savings Plans and Reserved Instances), build detailed cloud cost forecasts incorporating growth trends and utilization metrics, develop KPIs and benchmarks for cost efficiency, collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to optimize cloud infrastructure, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership on cloud spend trends, anomalies, and risks.
- • You will join a growing FinOps team within CSG, a global technology company with over 40 years of experience empowering brands to solve complex business challenges through innovative technologies and a culture rooted in integrity, innovation, and impact. The team partners closely with technical departments to ensure cloud financial strategies align with operational needs.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in financial analytics, cloud cost modeling, and cross-functional collaboration, gaining hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms and FinOps frameworks while contributing to strategic cost optimization initiatives that impact the entire organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience implementing cloud cost analytics frameworks
- • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and pricing models
- • Proficiency in financial modeling and cost analysis
- • Experience with cloud cost management tools (e.g., Apptio, Cloud Health, AWS Cost Explorer)
- • Familiarity with FinOps principles and frameworks
- • Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive problem-solver with a passion for efficiency and cost management
