📋 Description

• As a Cloud Network Engineer II at Availity, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud network infrastructure across multi-cloud environments, with a primary focus on AWS, to support the company’s mission of transforming healthcare through technology.
• Day to day, you will engineer and support multi-cloud and on-premises infrastructure, build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible, orchestrate builds via AWS CLI and GitLab, monitor network performance, participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, collaborate with Cloud Architects and business partners, and provide on-call support for escalation incidents.
• Availity is a leading healthcare engagement platform connecting over 2 million providers and processing over 13 billion transactions annually, headquartered in Jacksonville, FL with offices in Bangalore, India and a distributed remote workforce across the U.S., united by a mission to bring focus back to patient care through innovation and collaboration.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud networking, infrastructure as code, firewall technologies (Palo Alto, F5), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies while contributing to a culture of continuous learning, diversity and inclusion, and impactful healthcare innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• 3+ years hands-on AWS experience
• 3+ years’ experience with Palo Alto firewalls
• Experience with F5 LTM
• Skilled in IAC, Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible
• Experience with CICD tooling such as Gitlab, Jenkins
• Scripting such as BASH and Python
• Knowledge of development methodologies (primarily Agile/Scrum)
• Experience with AWS and common AWS services
• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions
• Must be comfortable with Git
• Excellent communication skills
• Collaborative attitude
• Strong technical, process, and problem-solving proficiency
