📋 Description

• As Cloud Network Lead at Allica Bank, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining secure, high-performance network infrastructures across Azure and other cloud environments, directly enabling the bank’s mission to serve established SMEs with innovative financial technology solutions.
• You will lead a team of network engineers, providing technical mentorship and driving excellence in network operations while collaborating cross-functionally with software developers, security experts, and system administrators to ensure seamless integration of network services with platform offerings.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will include leading the design, implementation, and ongoing management of cloud network infrastructure, primarily within Azure, with desirable experience in GCP, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• You will oversee the deployment and management of network resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, specifically leveraging Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration of network components.
• Managing and optimizing Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and delivery of network infrastructure changes will be a core duty, enabling repeatable, version-controlled, and efficient releases.
• You will ensure robust network security and compliance by configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls and integrating with Netskope or similar cloud security solutions to protect data and meet regulatory standards.
• Configuring and maintaining BGP routing protocols within the cloud network, including exposure to Azure Route Server, will be essential for optimal traffic flow and connectivity across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• You will provide technical leadership and mentorship to the network engineering team, fostering skill development, promoting best practices, and setting standards for network design, operations, and incident response.
• Developing and enforcing network infrastructure standards, troubleshooting complex issues promptly, and staying current with emerging cloud networking technologies and industry trends will be key to driving continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience in network engineering and design within Azure Cloud environments, including hands-on proficiency with Azure networking services and features.
• Proven hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform, for automating cloud network provisioning and management.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for network infrastructure deployments.
• Expertise in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Palo Alto firewalls in enterprise cloud environments.
• In-depth understanding and operational experience with BGP routing protocols, including familiarity with Azure Route Server.
• Experience working with Netskope or comparable cloud security solutions to enforce security policies and protect cloud-based workloads.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and mentoring network engineering teams, with a track record of driving technical excellence and project delivery.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, particularly in diagnosing and resolving complex network issues under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders across teams.
