- • As a Cloud Network Manager III at Astreya Partners, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of cloud-based network infrastructure for customers, directly impacting service availability and user experience in a remote-first environment serving clients across India and beyond.
- • You will be responsible for proactively monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving network capacity and connectivity issues, leveraging data-driven insights to prevent outages and optimize network performance before they affect end users.
- • Day to day, you will build and maintain capacity dashboards to visualize network utilization trends and identify potential stockout or bottleneck conditions before they lead to service degradation.
- • You will continuously monitor key network metrics including traffic volume, bandwidth utilization, latency, jitter, and packet loss to detect anomalies and assess network health in real time.
- • You will investigate and resolve network incidents and outages related to customer capacity limitations, applying structured troubleshooting methodologies to restore services swiftly and minimize downtime.
- • You will collaborate closely with the Operations Lead, customer engineers, and cross-functional teams to diagnose complex, multi-layered network issues affecting customer environments, ensuring alignment on resolution paths and preventive actions.
- • You will maintain comprehensive and accurate network documentation, including topology diagrams, device configurations, change logs, and troubleshooting runbooks, with special emphasis on capacity-related details for auditability and knowledge sharing.
- • You will document all incidents, root causes, resolutions, and capacity-related changes in a centralized knowledge base to enable faster future response and support continuous improvement in capacity planning.
- • You will analyze historical usage patterns and growth trends to forecast future capacity needs and recommend scaling actions, supporting proactive infrastructure planning aligned with business demands.
- • You will contribute to the refinement of network monitoring and alerting strategies, ensuring thresholds are tuned to reduce noise while capturing genuine capacity risks.
- • You will support customer success and support teams by providing technical insights into network performance, helping them communicate status and resolution timelines effectively to end users.
- • You will stay current with evolving cloud networking technologies and best practices, particularly within AWS and Azure environments, to recommend improvements to architecture, automation, and operational processes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related technical field.
- • 5+ years of hands-on experience in network operations, with a strong focus on cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or similar).
- • Proven experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Datadog, Nagios, Wireshark, or cloud-native equivalents).
- • Solid understanding of core network protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, routing (OSPF, BGP), switching (VLANs, STP), and DNS/DHCP.
- • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot network issues across OSI layers (physical, data link, network, transport) in complex, distributed environments.
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working effectively in customer-facing or customer-support adjacent roles.
