- • As Cloud Platform Tech Lead Engineer at Havoc AI Inc, you will own the architecture, reliability, and evolution of the cloud platform that powers the engineering organization, enabling mission-critical autonomous systems for defense and commercial maritime missions while ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence.
- • You will lead a cross-functional team spanning Cloud Platform, DevOps, SRE, and Data Engineering, defining technical standards, driving infrastructure innovation, and ensuring the platform supports rapid engineering velocity without compromising reliability or cost efficiency.
- • Day to day, you will define and drive the technical direction of the cloud platform, establishing standards across infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, and data systems while making architectural decisions that balance speed, scalability, and maintainability.
- • You will design and own foundational platform services including shared runtimes, service frameworks, and data infrastructure, architect and operate Kubernetes-based environments for reliable multi-service systems, and ensure infrastructure is secure, scalable, and cost-efficient.
- • You will lead development of CI/CD systems and deployment workflows, establish SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs, and incident response frameworks, define observability standards across logging, metrics, and tracing, and improve operational maturity through automation and continuous improvement.
- • You will build self-service tooling and paved paths for deploying and operating services, partner across autonomy, hardware, backend, and data teams to remove bottlenecks, and ensure platform systems support both application and data workloads seamlessly.
- • You will maintain strong security practices across infrastructure and systems and troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems, networking, and services to ensure resilience and uptime.
- • You will work with a mission-driven team at Havoc AI Inc, a leader in collaborative autonomy for autonomous surface vessels, where innovation, integrity, and servant leadership are core values and your work directly contributes to preventing conflict and saving lives through advanced defense technology.

🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE
- • Proven experience acting as a technical lead driving architecture and execution
- • Strong proficiency with Go, Docker, and Kubernetes
- • Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud architecture
- • Experience operating large-scale production systems
- • Ability to design platforms that support multiple engineering teams
