- • Portfolio or evidence of prior project work (academic, personal, or internship) demonstrating applicable skills
🏖️ Benefits
- • Hands-on experience working on innovative medical robotics technology with real-world impact on children’s mobility
- • Mentorship from highly skilled and optimistic team members in a flat organizational structure that encourages initiative and learning
- • Opportunity to build a professional portfolio and gain resume-worthy experience in engineering, manufacturing, software, quality, or business operations
- • Exposure to regulated medical device development processes including FDA, Health Canada, and ISO 13485 compliance

About Trexo Robotics Inc.
Trexo Robotics creates wearable robotic devices that help children with mobility disabilities walk independently. The company’s flagship product is a gait-training exoskeleton that straps over a child’s legs and attaches to a walker, converting passive walkers into powered systems that provide repetitive, physiologically correct stepping. Designed for home and clinical use, the device captures data on joint angles, step count, and walking time to guide therapy. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Mississauga, Canada, Trexo combines mechanical engineering, software, and pediatric rehabilitation expertise to improve neuroplasticity, bone health, and quality of life for users with cerebral palsy and similar conditions.
