Your role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health of the company by meticulously managing outstanding receivables and optimizing cash flow.
- • You will collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders, including finance, sales, and customer success teams, to conduct quarterly reviews of strategic customer and partner accounts. This collaboration will focus on understanding and mitigating financial risks, ensuring that credit and collection strategies align with overall business objectives and customer satisfaction.
- • A key aspect of your responsibility will be to proactively identify and implement innovative process improvements. This includes streamlining collections, enhancing customer service interactions related to billing and payments, and optimizing other related financial processes across Okta's global operations. Your goal will be to drive efficiency and effectiveness in every facet of the order-to-cash cycle.
- • You will be directly responsible for ensuring effective cash collection, meticulous account management, and efficient credit handling across all global regions. This encompasses a wide range of critical tasks:

- • Accurately processing accounts receivable refunds, maintaining financial integrity and customer trust.
- • Identifying and proactively managing high-risk accounts to mitigate potential financial losses.
- • You will establish clear, measurable team goals and continuously monitor performance against key credit and collections targets (KPIs) within a dynamic global environment. This includes setting benchmarks for aging, cash collection, and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and meticulously tracking progress to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- • A core function of this role is to establish, implement, and rigorously enforce comprehensive credit policies and procedures. This ensures consistency and fairness in credit decisions across the organization.
- • You will refine quarterly objectives related to aging receivables, cash flow targets, and DSO, and diligently track progress across all global service territories, reporting on key metrics and trends.
- • You will be responsible for calculating the allowance for bad debt, utilizing analytical skills to ensure accurate financial reporting and risk assessment.
- • Fostering a strong customer-centric approach is paramount. You will cultivate and maintain robust working relationships with the order-to-cash teams and other relevant leaders in a global setting, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
- • In partnership with the Senior Manager, Billing and Collections, you will play a vital role in driving continuous process improvements across all global territories, contributing to Okta's operational excellence.
- • This role requires a leader who can inspire and guide a team, foster a positive and productive work environment, and contribute significantly to Okta's mission of securing digital identity for businesses worldwide. You will be a key player in ensuring that Okta's financial operations are as robust and innovative as its technology solutions.
