- • As the Collections Strategy and Operations Manager for Tilt's Mexico market, you will be instrumental in building and scaling a world-class collections function from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to take complete ownership of the collections strategy, encompassing risk segmentation, outreach channel optimization, and in-depth analytics, all within a rapidly expanding and high-impact environment.
- • You will be at the forefront of designing and implementing innovative collections strategies, leveraging cutting-edge data analytics, machine learning, and potentially external vendor partnerships to significantly enhance recovery rates and portfolio performance.
- • A core responsibility will be to test and iterate rapidly on various collections strategies. This includes experimenting with new outreach techniques, designing effective incentive programs, and developing sophisticated risk-based approaches to tailor collections efforts to different customer segments.
- • You will be responsible for designing and implementing predictive collections scoring models and automation tools. This involves leveraging advanced segmentation techniques, robust data analytics, and machine learning algorithms to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of collections processes.
- • Developing and scaling collections outreach models is a key aspect of this role. You will manage and optimize a multi-channel approach, including digital communications, automated systems, and agent-led interactions, to maximize both performance and operational efficiency.
- • A significant part of your role will involve coordinating and managing relationships with external collection agencies. This requires ensuring strategic alignment, consistent performance monitoring, and strict adherence to all compliance and regulatory requirements.

- • Cross-functional collaboration will be essential. You will work closely with teams across Credit, Data Science, Product, Growth, and Operations to refine collections strategies, provide valuable insights for underwriting, and drive overall innovation within the financial products offered.
- • You will be the primary owner of key collections performance indicators (KPIs), including delinquency rates, recovery efficiency, and overall portfolio health, ensuring that all financial targets are consistently met and exceeded.
- • Ensuring strict compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and legal frameworks governing collections and lending in Mexico is paramount.
- • This role offers a broad scope for strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You will be expected to dive deep into the data, drive analyses yourself, and translate insights into actionable strategies that directly contribute to Tilt's mission of expanding financial inclusion.
- • By optimizing collections processes, you will directly contribute to Tilt's ability to serve more customers and provide fair credit access to individuals often overlooked by traditional financial institutions.
- • You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of collections at Tilt Mexico, influencing product development and risk management strategies based on your deep understanding of customer behavior and repayment patterns.
- • The role demands a proactive and analytical mindset, with a strong emphasis on experimentation and continuous learning to stay ahead of industry trends and best practices.
- • You will be empowered to make data-driven decisions, championing new initiatives and driving operational excellence across the entire collections lifecycle.
- • This is a remote position, with a preference for candidates located in Mexico or within a similar time zone to facilitate effective collaboration with the local market teams. Occasional travel for company-wide meetings and market visits is anticipated, typically 4-6 times per year.
