- • As a Commercial Customer Master Data and Segmentation specialist at Lonza Group Ltd., you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of customer data across global systems, directly enabling effective commercial operations and strategic decision-making within the Capsule & Health Ingredients business unit. Your work will underpin sales effectiveness, marketing precision, and customer engagement by maintaining a trusted data foundation that supports segmentation, targeting, and performance tracking.
- • You will own and manage commercial customer master data across core systems including Salesforce and SAP, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and proper hierarchical structures; maintain high data quality through governance frameworks, regular audits, and proactive issue resolution, serving as the primary escalation point for data-related concerns; lead the application and continuous refresh of customer segmentation models to ensure all accounts are correctly classified and consistently tagged across platforms; source, validate, and manage internal and external data inputs to enhance segmentation accuracy and generate actionable business insights; ensure segmentation is reliably implemented across systems by resolving exceptions, preventing inconsistencies, and blocking unauthorized changes; collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Analytics, Sales Operations, and IT to enforce data governance standards and enable seamless commercial execution; and drive continuous improvement by optimizing data processes, reducing manual effort, enhancing documentation, and improving scalability and downstream usability of data assets.
