• • As Communications Director, you will be instrumental in shaping Vivazen's external narrative and driving our message development across all channels. This pivotal role involves crafting and executing integrated communication campaigns that span earned, paid, owned, and stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for the day-to-day strategic direction of our communications efforts, proactively building our brand's reputation while adeptly managing reactive communications and high-priority issues. Reporting to the Legal and Corporate Affairs department, you will collaborate closely with commercial, public affairs, and government affairs teams, as well as external agencies, to ensure a unified and impactful communication strategy. We are looking for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment, demonstrating independence, sound judgment, and agility.
• • Your responsibilities will be broad and impactful. You will develop and lead comprehensive communications strategies that are meticulously aligned with our organizational goals, ensuring consistency in messaging for both internal and external audiences. A key part of your role will be adapting these plans to meet the evolving demands of our business priorities. You will oversee the execution of proactive and reactive media engagement, working hand-in-hand with cross-functional stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities, develop compelling narratives, and secure high-impact media coverage that significantly enhances our brand's credibility and market position.
• • As a primary author, you will be responsible for creating high-visibility communications assets. This includes drafting press releases, crafting official statements, developing executive talking points, preparing Q&A documents, writing speeches, authoring op-eds, creating briefing materials, and producing other essential external-facing collateral. Your ability to translate complex information into clear, persuasive language will be crucial. Furthermore, you will manage our crisis communications readiness and response protocols. This involves anticipating potential risks, closely monitoring public sentiment, and coordinating real-time communication plans during sensitive or urgent situations with unwavering discipline and sound judgment.
• • You will play a key role in shaping and stewarding the company's overall narrative across all platforms. This includes our owned digital channels, social media presence, thought leadership placements, and integrated public affairs campaigns designed to influence key stakeholders and legislative audiences. Directing and collaborating with external agencies and vendors will be a significant aspect of your role. You will set strategic priorities, provide rigorous editorial oversight, and ensure that our third-party partners consistently deliver high-quality work on time and provide a strong return on investment.
