  • • Join Veeam, the undisputed global market leader in data resilience, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of how businesses protect and manage their critical data. At Veeam, we empower over 550,000 customers worldwide with innovative solutions for data backup, recovery, portability, security, and intelligence. We are driven by a mission to ensure businesses can control their data, anytime and anywhere, enabling them to move forward fearlessly. As a Configuration (DevOps) Engineer, you will be an integral part of our core development teams, contributing directly to the efficiency and reliability of our software delivery processes.
  • • This role is centered around the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of robust Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. You will be instrumental in ensuring seamless and automated build, test, and deployment cycles for our diverse range of projects, including those built with C#/.NET, C++, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Your expertise will directly impact the speed and quality of our product releases, supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional value to our customers.
  • • You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and actively monitoring our CI/CD pipelines. This involves ensuring the consistent reliability of software builds and deployments, identifying potential bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to optimize performance. A key aspect of this role is the design and implementation of sophisticated continuous build chains that streamline the development workflow.
  • • A significant part of your contribution will involve automating the deployment of test environments. You will leverage your skills in Ansible playbooks to automate the provisioning and configuration of these environments on both Windows Server and Linux platforms within a VMware vSphere infrastructure. This automation is crucial for enabling rapid testing and validation cycles.
  • • You will be tasked with writing and maintaining scripts to support various aspects of infrastructure automation, system monitoring, and configuration management. This includes developing tools and processes that enhance operational efficiency and maintain system stability.
  • • A core responsibility will be the continuous optimization and improvement of our CI processes. This encompasses refining code builds, enhancing automated test execution, integrating static code analysis tools, and managing the deployment of build artifacts. Your proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement will be highly valued.
  • • You will actively monitor CI/CD pipeline performance, troubleshoot any failures that arise, and implement measures to optimize build times. Documenting the pipeline architecture, operational standards, and best practices will be essential for knowledge sharing and ensuring continuity within the team and across departments.
  • • Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and IT operations teams to ensure a smooth and efficient product delivery process. By automating routine tasks and providing robust CI/CD support, you will enable these teams to focus on innovation and development.
  • • You will also be responsible for documenting all processes, procedures, and configurations. Clear and comprehensive documentation is vital for effective communication, onboarding new team members, and maintaining operational consistency.
  • • The technologies you will engage with are cutting-edge and widely adopted in the DevOps landscape. This includes CI/CD platforms like TeamCity, Azure DevOps (YAML Pipelines), and GitLab; artifact management with Artifactory; virtualization with VMware vSphere; configuration management using Ansible and AWX; containerization with Docker; version control with Git; package management for .NET (NuGet) and C++ (Conan); monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana; and cloud platforms including AWS and Azure. You will also utilize scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, Bash, and Kotlin to drive automation.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a market-leading company, contribute to impactful projects, and grow your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. Your work will directly influence the success of Veeam's data resilience solutions, helping businesses worldwide stay protected.
