- • As a Consumer Financial Collections Specialist, you will play a pivotal role within our Financial Services team, operating as a fully remote employee. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and resolve post-charge-off accounts, ensuring optimal recovery and maintaining positive customer relationships where possible.
- • You will meticulously review accounts that have been charged off, assessing their disposition and formulating strategic collection action recommendations. These recommendations will be presented to management for approval and subsequent implementation, requiring a keen understanding of financial recovery processes.
- • A core aspect of your role will involve direct contact with account holders. You will engage with them to arrange payment plans, negotiate settlements, or secure full payment of outstanding balances, always adhering to the business's established parameters and guidelines.
- • You will be instrumental in identifying accounts suitable for assignment to specialized Collection or Legal teams. This involves a thorough review of all account documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy, thereby maximizing the potential for recovery.
- • Preparing accounts for placement with external agencies or internal legal departments will be a key task. This includes gathering and providing all necessary documentation to support the assignment and facilitate the collection process.
- • Accurate and timely documentation of all collection attempts, interactions, and resolutions within Salesforce or other designated repositories is critical. This ensures a clear audit trail and supports ongoing account management.
- • You will employ commercially reasonable and ethical collection tactics to resolve assigned accounts, balancing the company's financial interests with customer considerations.
- • Maintaining the highest standards of integrity, discretion, and respect for confidential information is paramount in all interactions and data handling.
