Conversational Designer

📋 Description

• • As a Conversational Designer at Hellopatient Inc., you will shape how AI agents communicate with patients in high-stakes, real-time healthcare conversations, directly impacting trust, efficiency, and task completion in critical patient interactions.
• • You will define agent responses across emotional and situational scenarios (frustration, urgency, confusion), analyze real interaction data to improve containment and task completion rates, and iteratively refine prompts and conversational logic to enhance AI performance in production.
• • You will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to integrate conversational improvements into the product, develop scalable frameworks for diverse use cases, and ensure AI agents build trust quickly and guide patients toward successful outcomes without human intervention.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in human-centered AI design, gain hands-on experience optimizing LLM-driven conversations in regulated healthcare environments, and contribute to measurable improvements in patient experience and operational efficiency at a fast-growing healthtech startup.
