📋 Description
- • As a Conversational Designer at Hellopatient Inc., you will shape how AI agents communicate with patients in high-stakes, real-time healthcare conversations, directly impacting patient experience and operational efficiency by improving agent behavior in moments that build trust, handle urgency, and drive task completion.
- • You will design and refine AI behaviors across emotional and functional scenarios — frustration, urgency, confusion, resistance — balancing empathy, efficiency, and successful outcomes while analyzing real interaction data to improve containment rates and reduce reliance on human intervention.
- • You will collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to evaluate conversation performance in production, identify drop-off points, and iterate on structured prompts and conversational logic to create scalable, reusable frameworks that enhance agent reliability and effectiveness.
- • You will work in a mission-driven, fast-growing healthtech startup environment where your work directly contributes to reducing administrative burden on clinicians and improving patient access to care through intelligent, empathetic AI communication.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience in conversation design, UX writing, prompt engineering, linguistics, behavioral research, or a closely related field
- • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a strong ability to model and understand human behavior
- • Experience with structured thinking systems such as prompts, logic frameworks, or conversational design methodologies
