- • Design and build foundational infrastructure enabling reliable, deterministic execution of autonomous revenue agents at enterprise scale
- • Develop low-latency streaming systems that ingest, process, and synchronize real-time enterprise context for AI workflows
- • Architect and scale graph-based retrieval systems that power semantic search and context retrieval across distributed data sources
- • Construct and optimize distributed execution runtimes that coordinate autonomous agent behavior across multiple systems with strict SLAs
- • Build observability and debugging tooling for autonomous workflows to ensure auditability, traceability, and operational transparency
- • Implement high-scale backend platforms supporting real-time OLAP queries, distributed databases, and streaming compute pipelines
- • Collaborate closely with AI, platform, and product engineering teams to align infrastructure capabilities with autonomous agent requirements
- • Improve the reliability and fault tolerance of long-horizon AI workflows that involve sequential reasoning, action triggering, and state updates
- • Design systems for deterministic agent behavior under enterprise-grade constraints including consistency, latency, and availability requirements
- • Operate and evolve semantic retrieval infrastructure that connects unstructured and structured enterprise data for agent reasoning
- • Contribute to the design and deployment of low-latency inference pipelines that enable real-time decision loops for autonomous agents
- • Own end-to-end development of critical infrastructure components including execution orchestration, state synchronization, and data ingestion layers
- • Solve complex systems problems at the intersection of distributed systems, streaming data, and AI infrastructure
- • Drive technical decisions that impact the long-term architecture of Rox’s agent runtime, prioritizing scalability, reliability, and maintainability
- • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure operational stability of core infrastructure serving global enterprise customers
- • Advocate for engineering craftsmanship, systems thinking, and architecture discipline across the engineering organization
- • Translate abstract challenges in autonomous AI systems into concrete, measurable infrastructure improvements
- • Continuously refine performance benchmarks and reliability metrics for agent execution pipelines under real-world production load
- • Mentor engineers and contribute to technical documentation to ensure knowledge retention and team scalability
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong background in distributed systems or platform engineering
- • Experience building and operating high-scale backend infrastructure
- • Strong systems fundamentals across networking, concurrency, storage, and reliability
- • Experience with streaming systems, distributed databases, or real-time infrastructure
- • Ability to independently design and ship complex technical systems
- • Strong product and engineering judgment
