- • Join Rain Technologies, Inc., a pioneering force in next-generation global payments, as a Corporate Development Analyst. We are a dynamic, lean, and driven team comprised of passionate builders and seasoned founders dedicated to making stablecoins a reality in the real world. Our innovative infrastructure powers card transactions, cross-border payments, B2B purchases, and remittances, enabling fintechs, neobanks, and institutions to launch global, inclusive, and efficient financial solutions. As a hypergrowth company backed by top-tier investors in fintech, crypto, and SaaS, including Sapphire Ventures, Norwest, Galaxy Ventures, Lightspeed, and Khosla, you will have an unparalleled opportunity to make a significant impact and shape the future of borderless finance. If you are curious, bold, and eager to contribute to a transformative industry, we invite you to explore this exciting opportunity.
- • At Rain, we foster an open and flat organizational structure, empowering our team members at all levels to grow into roles that align with their aspirations. We encourage individuals to explore new ideas and actively influence the company's roadmap and vision, providing a unique environment for professional development and impactful contributions.
- • The Corporate Development team at Rain is instrumental in driving the company's strategic expansion into new markets and cultivating vital strategic relationships. This team leads all M&A activities, managing the entire deal lifecycle from initial screening and in-depth due diligence to documentation and post-closing responsibilities. Furthermore, the team spearheads new growth initiatives beyond M&A and plays a critical role in evaluating and applying for licenses in markets where acquisitions may not be feasible or advisable.
- • In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive due diligence on potential merger and acquisition opportunities across diverse global markets, which will involve frequent site visits and hands-on investigative work.
- • You will design and develop sophisticated asset-level financial models to meticulously evaluate acquisition prospects and assess key equity return metrics for potential investments.
- • A significant part of your role will involve co-designing, developing, and implementing standardized policies and practices for Rain's evaluation of acquisition targets. This includes defining critical equity return metrics and establishing a widely accepted internal valuation tool to rigorously assess potential acquisitions.
- • You will perform in-depth financial, legal, and commercial research on key markets where Rain currently operates or intends to expand its presence.
- • You will provide crucial support to the broader Corporate Development team in the negotiation and drafting of contracts related to any acquisition or other expansion activities.
- • Effective coordination of internal teams will be essential to support due diligence activities, ensuring seamless collaboration and information flow.
- • You will be expected to stay continuously informed about relevant regulations, laws, and policies in the markets where Rain is active or plans to enter.
- • Active participation in meetings and industry events will be required to support Rain's corporate development objectives.
- • You will prepare and contribute to the preparation of compelling presentations and reports for both internal and external key stakeholders, effectively communicating complex information.
- • Close collaboration with Rain's finance and legal teams will be necessary for tax planning and analysis related to potential acquisition targets or market expansion initiatives.
- • You will undertake a wide array of other tasks to support the Company's overarching corporate development efforts, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
