• • As a key member of the Strategic Response Legal team, you will serve as Coinbase's legal 'First Responder.' This role is distinct from traditional advisory positions, demanding a proactive and decisive approach to crisis management, urgent internal investigations, and the protection of the company's reputation and operational integrity. You will be instrumental in navigating the intricate legal landscape of the crypto and blockchain space.
• • Our team is dedicated to advocating for the crypto-economy and Coinbase, with a strong focus on preventing and addressing criminal activity. You will collaborate closely with our Global Intelligence team, acting as a crucial liaison with law enforcement agencies and conducting both proactive and reactive investigations. This position is ideal for a seasoned lawyer with a robust background in criminal law or white-collar internal investigations, who thrives on complex challenges and seeks to make a significant impact within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• • You will be responsible for leading the legal response to high-intensity, high-priority projects. This requires exceptional cross-functional orchestration, ensuring seamless collaboration across Legal, Compliance, Product, and Communications departments.
