- • As Country Marketing Manager for Indonesia at Duolingo, you will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies to grow brand awareness, user acquisition, and engagement in one of Duolingo’s fastest-growing markets. Your role is pivotal in scaling Duolingo’s mission of making high-quality language learning accessible to half a billion+ learners worldwide through localized, culturally resonant campaigns.
- • Day to day, you will leverage market insights to craft and implement marketing plans focused on social media, influencer partnerships, PR, and acquisition campaigns; hire and manage agencies or contractors; serve as a local spokesperson for Duolingo in Indonesia; analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies; and collaborate with global Marketing and Product teams to localize messaging for product launches and features.
- • You will join a mission-driven, globally distributed team at Duolingo that values data-informed decision-making, creative experimentation, and meaningful impact. 🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of consumer marketing experience with a strong focus on social media and growth marketing
- • Proven track record of achieving strong results with creative ideas rather than large budgets
- • Culturally immersed in Indonesian trends, especially social media, with the ability to craft attention-grabbing, locally relevant campaigns
- • Experience leading agencies or contractors and managing end-to-end marketing execution
- • Strong English speaking and writing skills
- • Experience working effectively in remote teams and influencing HQ stakeholders to support local market needs
