- • As a Creative Director for dm-drogerie markt, you will lead and inspire an interdisciplinary creative team while acting as a key connector across functions, driving brand-aligned innovation at the intersection of creativity and technology for one of Germany’s most beloved retailers.
- • Your day-to-day involves developing designers, art directors, and creatives both technically and conceptually; fostering an environment where strong ideas emerge quickly, collaboratively, and on equal footing; bringing clarity to creative processes without overcomplicating them; setting quality standards and delivering constructive, inspiring feedback; actively networking within the agency—especially with Tech, Data, and Strategy teams; and working closely and partnership-style with dm teams to be seen as an integral part of their setup.
- • Wongdoody is a global network of over 2,000 colleagues across 22 design studios on four continents, part of Infosys, specializing in product experiences, digital marketing, and immersive technologies. Since 2010, we have been dm-drogerie markt’s digital lead agency, guiding their transformation from brick-and-mortar to omnichannel commerce across Germany, Austria, and Eastern Europe, managing e-commerce platforms, social media, CRM, digital branding, campaigns, and content marketing.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in translating brand into visual culture, shaping design systems that evolve with cultural nuances and technological possibilities, and gaining hands-on experience in integrating AI, automation, and scalable design practices—while growing as a leader who bridges creativity, technology, and strategy to deliver measurable brand impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • Several years of experience in a creative leadership role with a strong focus on design and concept
- • Outstanding sense for brands, visual language, and cultural relevance
- • Ability to develop ideas that are truly meaningful to people
- • Experience designing for digital platforms and understanding how design behaves in those contexts
- • Interest and curiosity in new technologies, especially AI, automation, and their impact on design
- • Experience or motivation to evolve design systems and make them scalable
- • Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual depth and visual excellence
- • Experience in leading and developing creative teams
- • Joy in collaboration, networking, and interdisciplinary work
- • Very good German and English language skills
