  • As a Creative Strategist at Reddit Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping how technology and telecommunications brands connect with the unique and vibrant communities on the platform. You will be the creative engine within the Global Sales Organization, specifically within KarmaLab, Reddit's in-house creative strategy team. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that brands can authentically engage with Reddit users, driving both genuine connection and measurable business impact. This position is crucial for bridging the gap between advertiser objectives and the authentic nature of Reddit's diverse communities, making Reddit a compelling platform for Tech & Telco businesses.
  • In this dynamic role, your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around developing innovative creative strategies and compelling campaign concepts tailored for technology and telecommunications advertisers. You will be a key partner to the Sales team and other cross-functional departments, actively contributing to pitches, responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), crafting persuasive presentations, and facilitating client storytelling sessions. You will serve as a trusted creative consultant and an expert on the Reddit platform for clients and external partners within the Tech & Telco sector. A significant part of your work will involve constructing strategic narratives, preparing impactful presentation materials, and conceptualizing Reddit-native ideas that are designed to achieve tangible business outcomes for advertisers. Furthermore, you will play an educational role, enlightening internal sales teams and external partners about creative best practices specific to Reddit and guiding them on how brands can most effectively leverage the platform's unique environment. You will also collaborate closely with senior strategists on major accounts and across various verticals, providing essential support for the ongoing creative strategy needs of these key clients.
  • You will be joining KarmaLab, Reddit's dedicated creative engine for its Global Sales Organization. This team is at the forefront of helping brands establish an authentic presence on Reddit, ensuring their campaigns resonate with the platform's culture while simultaneously delivering significant business results. KarmaLab operates as Reddit's in-house creative strategy powerhouse, fostering close collaborations with Sales, Marketing, Product teams, and advertisers to conceptualize and execute impactful campaigns. The team is dedicated to developing creative strategies and compelling storytelling that forge meaningful connections between brands and the diverse Reddit communities.

Experience collaborating closely with Sales and cross-functional partners in pre-sales or client-facing roles is vital for seamless integration and effective project execution. The ability to independently manage multiple projects, adhere to timelines, and develop compelling presentation materials is a key requirement for success in this fast-paced environment. A strong grasp of social media and broader media platform ecosystems, including how brands strategically position themselves across various digital environments, will be crucial. Comfort and adaptability in fast-paced, often ambiguous, and resourcefully managed environments are necessary, as is a demonstrated ability to think both strategically and creatively, ideally showcased through a strong portfolio of past work.
  • The qualifications for this role include a minimum of 4 years of experience in advertising, media, social media marketing, public relations, or creative strategy, demonstrating a solid foundation in the industry. Proven experience in building and pitching strategy-led presentations directly to clients is a must, highlighting your ability to influence and win business. A comprehensive understanding of brands, advertising agencies, and the intricate workings of media and platform ecosystems is expected, allowing you to navigate the industry landscape effectively. The capacity to manage numerous projects concurrently, ensuring all deadlines are met and quality is maintained, is critical for handling the demands of the role. Proficiency in Google Slides is required for creating and delivering impactful presentations.
  • Preferred qualifications include prior experience in Creative Strategy or platform-specific strategy roles at a social media, media technology, or advertising technology company, offering a specialized advantage. Experience specifically supporting advertisers in the Tech, Telecom, Consumer Electronics, or B2B sectors would be highly beneficial, providing relevant industry insights. Previous experience working directly alongside Sales teams in a pre-sales capacity is advantageous, ensuring a smooth workflow and understanding of sales cycles. Additionally, experience in professional writing for digital or social platforms would further enhance your ability to craft compelling content and narratives.
  • This role is based remotely on the East Coast, with a preference for New York City, offering flexibility while maintaining a strong connection to a key market.
