📋 Description
- • Analyze financial and non-financial data of new and existing customers to assess their business health and funding eligibility
- • Evaluate and quantify the risks associated with providing financing to eCommerce businesses
- • Support and coordinate regular client calls to deepen understanding of customer business models and funding needs
- • Collaborate with management to design, build, and implement new credit processes and financial products
- • Partner with sales and operations teams to understand how customer relationships are acquired and managed
- • Learn and apply portfolio management practices, including identifying when to exit high-risk customer relationships
- • Review and interpret financial reporting documents such as management accounts and financial models submitted by businesses
- • Present findings, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior stakeholders during internal and client-facing meetings
- • Work cross-functionally with teams across the organization to align credit decisions with business growth objectives
- • Contribute to the ongoing refinement of credit risk models and portfolio monitoring tools
- • Maintain a commercial mindset while balancing risk mitigation with the goal of supporting customer growth
- • Engage with the company’s loan portfolio to understand performance trends, default patterns, and funding cycle dynamics
- • Utilize quantitative analysis to inform credit decisions and support data-driven recommendations
- • Participate in the end-to-end credit evaluation process from initial application review to ongoing portfolio oversight
- • Communicate complex financial insights clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
- • Stay informed about evolving eCommerce trends and their impact on business financial performance
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal workflows and documentation related to credit analysis
🎯 Requirements
- • 1-2 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a finance-related role
- • Completed undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Law, or Computer Science
- • Ability to analyze and understand financial reporting such as management accounts and financial models
- • Comfortable leading internal and external meetings and presenting findings to senior stakeholders
- • Strong quantitative and commercial orientation with interest in credit risk analysis and portfolio management
- • Proficiency in MS Excel and/or SQL
