� Description

• • Own the end-to-end visual and interaction design for Token Metrics’ flagship web and mobile products, translating complex crypto data into intuitive, beautiful interfaces that delight both retail investors and institutional fund managers across 50+ countries.
• • Lead the creation of wireframes, user-flow diagrams, low- and high-fidelity prototypes, and pixel-perfect mockups in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD; iterate rapidly based on user feedback, A/B tests, and analytics to continuously raise the bar for usability and engagement.
• • Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research—interviews, surveys, card-sorting, usability sessions—to uncover pain-points and opportunities in the crypto-trading journey; synthesize findings into actionable insights that shape product strategy and roadmap.
• • Build responsive, accessible front-end experiences with semantic HTML5, modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, Tailwind), and vanilla or framework-driven JavaScript; ensure every component is reusable, themeable, and documented for the growing engineering team.
• • Implement interactive data visualizations—candlestick charts, heat maps, portfolio graphs—using D3, Chart.js, or Recharts, optimized for both desktop retina displays and low-latency mobile connections in emerging markets.
• • Integrate seamlessly with RESTful and GraphQL APIs served by Node.js micro-services; collaborate with back-end engineers to define data contracts, caching strategies, and real-time WebSocket feeds that power live price indices and AI-generated rankings.
• • Champion performance budgets and Core Web Vitals: audit pages with Google Lighthouse, WebPageTest, and PageSpeed Insights; reduce bundle sizes, lazy-load assets, and leverage code-splitting to achieve sub-second load times on 3G networks.
• • Debug and resolve cross-browser and cross-device quirks across Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, iOS Safari, and Android Chrome; maintain a living style guide and automated visual-regression tests to prevent UI drift.
• • Partner daily with product managers, data scientists, and marketing stakeholders in agile sprints; present design critiques, facilitate workshops, and translate business requirements into elegant technical solutions that ship on time.
• • Mentor junior designers and front-end developers through pair-programming, design reviews, and lunch-and-learn sessions; evangelize best practices in accessibility (WCAG 2.2), internationalization, and crypto-specific UX patterns.
• • Stay ahead of Web3 trends—wallet connect flows, DeFi staking dashboards, NFT galleries—and propose innovative features that keep Token Metrics at the forefront of AI-driven crypto research platforms.
• • Contribute to the evolving design system, documenting tokens for color, typography, spacing, and elevation; ensure consistency across marketing sites, mobile apps, and internal tools while allowing flexibility for brand evolution.

� Requirements

• • 5+ years of professional UI/UX design and front-end development experience, with a portfolio showcasing shipped crypto, fintech, or data-heavy SaaS products.
• • Expert proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite for UI design and prototyping, plus mastery of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• • Demonstrated experience with at least one major front-end framework—React (preferred), Angular, or Vue.js—and comfort navigating the Node.js ecosystem.
• • Proven track record optimizing web performance (Core Web Vitals, lazy-loading, code-splitting) and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability testing methods, and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+).
• • Nice-to-have: familiarity with crypto concepts (wallets, exchanges, DeFi protocols), data visualization libraries (D3, Recharts), and remote collaboration tools (Slack, Notion, Linear).
