📋 Description • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Token Metrics’ AI-driven crypto analytics platform, owning the product roadmap and translating ambitious business goals into executable engineering plans that delight 50+ countries of investors. • Build, mentor and scale a globally-distributed, cross-functional team of 15-25 data engineers, software engineers, data scientists and QA testers—creating a culture of psychological safety, continuous learning and rapid experimentation. • Drive simultaneous, high-impact initiatives: real-time on-chain data ingestion pipelines, predictive price models, React-Native mobile apps, Node/Python micro-services and cloud-native infrastructure on AWS or GCP. • Own the annual engineering budget; propose, justify and track spend across cloud resources, vendor tools, security audits and headcount while maintaining a 20 %+ gross-margin target. • Champion Agile/Scrum ceremonies, Design Thinking workshops and OKR planning to ensure every squad ships production-grade code every two weeks with zero-downtime deployments. • Partner with the executive team, token economists and marketing to align technical deliverables with token-launch timelines, regulatory requirements and customer feedback loops. • Institutionalize quality gates: enforce SonarQube code-review standards, LaunchDarkly feature-flag best practices and automated CI/CD pipelines that cut release risk by 40 %. • Conduct quarterly skills-gap analyses, design individual development plans and sponsor AWS/GCP certifications, Scrum Master training and internal Web3 hackathons. • Research bleeding-edge crypto protocols (L2 rollups, zero-knowledge proofs, MEV relays) and rapidly prototype integrations that keep Token Metrics ahead of the market. • Present engineering vision, sprint demos and post-mortems to upper management and external investors, translating complex technical trade-offs into clear business impact. • Establish KPIs: latency < 200 ms for price feeds, model accuracy > 85 %, 99.9 % platform uptime and < 2 % rollback rate—holding teams accountable through transparent dashboards. • Foster a security-first mindset: coordinate third-party smart-contract audits, threat-model new features and ensure SOC-2 compliance without slowing delivery velocity. • Collaborate with Customer Success to triage escalations, prioritize bug bounties and turn user pain points into roadmap epics that increase NPS by 15 points year over year. • Act as the public face of Token Metrics engineering at global conferences, podcasts and Twitter Spaces, attracting top-tier talent and strategic partners to the ecosystem.
