Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end customer lifecycle automation engine for a high-value B2B SaaS platform serving private equity firms and top consulting firms, designing behaviour-triggered workflows from scratch.
- • Design and implement targeted, non-broadcast messaging systems across email and in-product channels to drive activation, adoption, expansion, and reactivation of users—each account is high-touch and high-impact.
- • Build and optimize triggered campaigns based on user behaviour, product usage, and key events, ensuring the right message reaches the right user at the right time without manual intervention.
- • Identify underused product features and lead monthly initiatives to increase adoption through targeted messaging, educational content, and behavioural nudges, working directly with Product and Founding Marketer.
- • Create a scalable, automated support and training experience using knowledge bases, guided flows, and AI-powered responses to reduce manual customer support touchpoints and resolve recurring friction points.
- • Define and implement lifecycle tracking metrics and user journey mapping across pre-onboarding, onboarding, and active usage phases, collaborating with Data and RevOps to ensure accurate event tracking and CDP (Segment) integration.
- • Develop and execute reactivation strategies for dormant and under-engaged accounts, testing approaches and scaling interventions that demonstrably increase engagement and revenue influence.
- • Measure success through outcomes—not vanity metrics—focusing on activation rate, feature adoption, reactivation rate, and revenue influenced, with full ownership of performance reporting and iterative optimization.
- • Utilize tools including Customer.io, Attio, Segment, Notion, and equivalent platforms to build and manage automation workflows; proficiency in SQL and event tracking is required to interpret data and drive decisions independently.
- • Write clear, educational, and product-aligned messaging that serves as the voice of the product for users outside of sales conversations, with examples of high-performing lifecycle content required.
- • Apply AI literacy in daily workflows, leveraging LLMs to enhance content creation, segmentation, and automation efficiency, and communicate credibly with technical and executive stakeholders about product value.
- • Work closely with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Data teams to align lifecycle strategy with broader business goals, acting as the founding hire for this function with potential to build and lead a team.
- • Operate in an office-first environment based in London’s Farringdon office, with full-time in-office expectation (5 days/week), and occasional travel for team offsites or customer meetings.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4 to 7 years of relevant experience owning lifecycle, growth, or CRM marketing at a high-growth B2B SaaS company
- • Built a lifecycle automation engine from zero, including behaviour-triggered workflows, segmentation, and tool implementation (e.g., Customer.io, Braze, Iterable, HubSpot)
- • Proven ability to design and execute targeted campaigns for a low-volume, high-value B2B audience (e.g., private equity, consulting, enterprise SaaS)
- • Strong proficiency in SQL, event tracking, and CDP platforms like Segment; ability to interpret data and drive decisions without reliance on data analysts
- • Demonstrated skill in writing clear, educational, product-aligned messaging for virtual training and user onboarding
- • Fluency in lifecycle tools (Customer.io, Attio, Notion, etc.) and in-product messaging platforms (Pendo, Appcues, Intercom)
🏖️ Benefits
- • Equity in a profitable, bootstrapped company
- • Third Space membership (or equivalent of choice)
- • Private health insurance
- • Multiple all-expense-paid offsites per year (e.g., Cancun, Crete, Barcelona)
- • Office-first culture with 5 days/week in Farringdon, London
- • Occasional travel for team offsites and customer meetings
