- • Process customer and internal requests in a positive and professional manner while adhering to Stanley Black & Decker’s Code of Business Ethics
- • Answer an average of 4 hours of incoming phone calls daily and execute outgoing calls to support customers, sales personnel, distributors, and internal teams to ensure high customer satisfaction
- • Respond to email inquiries from general mailboxes regarding order status, pricing, technical support, literature requests, and replacement orders
- • Process returns, return authorizations, shipment inquiries, freight calculations, and expedited orders
- • Enter credit card transactions accurately and securely
- • Research and resolve customer inquiries using multiple internal resources and systems
- • Maintain working knowledge of Stanley Black & Decker’s product lines, including DEWALT®, BLACK+DECKER®, CRAFTSMAN®, STANLEY®, CUB CADET®, and HUSTLER® brands for industrial applications
- • Support manufacturing teams by providing accurate order information and resolving order-related issues
- • Assist in training new customer service employees on processes, systems, and company policies
- • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
- • Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats across all customer and internal interactions
- • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and business processes related to customer service operations
- • Act as a subject matter expert in order processing workflows
- • Perform other duties as assigned by management
🎯 Requirements
- • High School Diploma or GED
- • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a customer service role
- • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
- • Self-starter with ability to work independently
- • SAP and Salesforce experience preferred
