- • As a Customer Solutions Architect (CSA) for Supabase in the APAC region, you will be instrumental in driving the adoption and success of our cutting-edge Postgres development platform across a diverse clientele. This role is pivotal in guiding customers, from burgeoning startups to established enterprises, through their entire journey with Supabase, ensuring they maximize the value derived from our comprehensive backend solution.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to act as a trusted technical advisor, deeply understanding customer business objectives and translating them into robust, scalable solutions architected on the Supabase platform. This involves a proactive approach to pre-sales discovery, where you will lead technical conversations to uncover critical business and technical requirements, set realistic expectations about the platform's capabilities, and meticulously define success criteria.
- • You will be adept at designing and delivering compelling demonstrations of the Supabase platform, utilizing strong storytelling skills to articulate its value proposition and the comprehensive support offered by the Supabase Success team. Collaboration with the Growth team will be essential for accurately sizing deals, estimating anticipated usage, and identifying potential workloads that the platform can effectively support.
- • A significant part of your role will involve leading Proof-of-Value (PoV) onboarding initiatives. This requires close collaboration with customers to define the technical scope of PoVs, ensuring they clearly recognize the platform's benefits while mitigating any adoption risks. You will establish clear PoV timelines, measurable business outcomes, and definitive success criteria, fostering customer confidence to proceed with the platform post-PoV.
- • You will actively guide new customers through a seamless onboarding journey, leveraging a variety of resources including emails, documentation, guides, and webinars to facilitate their rapid deployment and subsequent growth on Supabase.
- • Beyond onboarding, your role extends to ongoing customer success. This involves developing meaningful account plans for high-value customers by understanding their immediate goals, such as onboarding and adoption, as well as identifying long-term opportunities for optimization and the exploration of new workloads.
- • You will conduct regular synchronous and asynchronous engagements, including in-depth application architecture assessments, database design reviews, performance optimization sessions, and proactive support to empower customers to scale their applications with confidence.
- • Serving as an internal champion for your customers is a key aspect of this position. You will work closely with our Support, Product, and Engineering teams, providing invaluable platform feedback, identifying areas for enhancement, and communicating relevant platform roadmaps back to your customers.
- • Building and nurturing trust-based relationships with customers is paramount. As you will be working with the production data stores of businesses ranging from agile startups to large enterprises, establishing trust in both the Supabase platform and the Success team is fundamental to fostering long-term, successful customer partnerships.
- • This role demands a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and exceptional interpersonal skills. You will be expected to navigate complex technical landscapes, translate intricate concepts into business impact, and effectively mediate discussions among various stakeholders with potentially conflicting priorities.
