  • • As a Customer Solutions Engineer at Sift, you will be an integral part of our Technical Support & Solutions team, serving as the critical bridge between our valued customers and our internal engineering and product development teams. Your primary mission is to ensure the success and maximum value realization of our customers by expertly troubleshooting and resolving complex product issues related to the Sift digital trust and safety platform. This role demands a unique blend of technical acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of customer business objectives.
  • • You will be the primary technical liaison for our Enterprise Strategic accounts, working hand-in-hand with our Customer Success Management team. This partnership is crucial for ensuring that these key clients are not only effectively using Sift but are also maximizing its value to their operations. Your role involves developing a profound understanding of each customer's unique business problems, their specific technical requirements, and their defined success criteria. By deeply understanding these elements, you will empower customers to overcome complex business challenges using Sift's advanced capabilities.
  • • Throughout the entire customer lifecycle, you will act as the customer's dedicated technical point of contact. This extends beyond initial onboarding and implementation, encompassing ongoing support and strategic guidance. You will collaborate closely with our broader Support team to ensure a seamless and comprehensive customer experience. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve dissecting the intricacies of customer integrations, working collaboratively with Sift's data science team to monitor and maintain the health of customer machine learning models, meticulously mapping out data flows to identify opportunities for integration expansion, and consistently serving as the internal advocate for the customer's voice and needs.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will be to drive improvements and refinements to Sift's offerings. When a customer's needs or specific use cases don't perfectly align with our current product capabilities, you will be the internal champion, articulating these gaps and advocating for the necessary solution changes and enhancements. This proactive approach ensures that Sift remains at the forefront of digital trust and safety solutions, continuously evolving to meet market demands.
  • • Beyond reactive problem-solving, you will proactively seek opportunities to automate and optimize processes, both internally and externally. Leveraging your deep technical expertise and customer insights, you will identify areas where efficiency can be gained. This might involve writing custom queries and scripts to generate specific metrics that demonstrate customer ROI, or developing automated solutions for recurring operational tasks. Internally, you will contribute to the development of tools and processes that streamline operations and inform strategic decision-making, employing innovative approaches to problem-solving.
  • • You will be instrumental in translating complex technical concepts into understandable terms for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This ability to bridge communication gaps is vital for fostering strong customer relationships and ensuring alignment between customer expectations and Sift's capabilities. Your work will directly impact customer retention, satisfaction, and the overall growth of Sift's customer base.
  • • This role requires a proactive, resourceful, and investigative mindset. When encountering unusual patterns or potential issues, you are expected to delve deep to understand the root cause. You should be comfortable challenging the status quo and proposing new ways of working or thinking to enhance our platform and customer support. 🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Senior Support Engineer).
  • • Proven experience writing scripts and queries for data analysis and automation (e.g., SQL, Python, Bash scripting), with a strong understanding of APIs and web technologies.
  • • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts clearly to diverse audiences, including developers and non-developers.
  • • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data science, engineering, and product management.
