- • As a Customer Success Engineer at Veeam, you will be the pivotal technical owner responsible for driving long-term customer success and ensuring optimal outcomes across the comprehensive Veeam Data Platform.
- • Your role will be instrumental in guiding customers through their entire journey with Veeam, from initial onboarding and product adoption to ongoing optimization and strategic planning.
- • You will proactively engage with customers to understand their unique environments, business objectives, and challenges, translating these into actionable technical strategies.
- • A core responsibility involves configuring customer accounts, meticulously customizing backup policies, and optimizing storage solutions to meet specific needs.
- • You will facilitate a smooth onboarding process, orienting key stakeholders and guiding them through the administrative portals and support channels available.
- • Identifying opportunities for customer growth and efficiency will be key, including recognizing and facilitating migration opportunities to leverage the full capabilities of the Veeam Data Platform.
- • You will conduct in-depth usage and environment analyses to inform success planning and strategy sessions, ensuring alignment between product adoption and desired business outcomes.
- • A significant part of your role will involve conducting comprehensive assessments of customer environments and developing robust protection plans.

- • You will apply the Veeam Data Resilience Maturity Model (DRMM) to meticulously track and report on customer resilience posture, delivering valuable quarterly resilience reports that demonstrate measurable customer value.
- • Proactive risk management is essential; you will monitor key signals to detect potential churn risks early and develop effective mitigation plans.
- • You will partner closely with the Sales and Customer Success teams, providing actionable technical insights to support renewal strategies and ensure customer retention.
- • Building strong business cases and defining Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) will be part of your remit, enabling you to articulate compelling value propositions for product expansion and upsell opportunities.
- • Regular checkpoint reviews with stakeholders will be conducted to ensure ongoing alignment and satisfaction.
- • You will engage directly with CISO/CIO stakeholders, providing clear updates on risk, status, and opportunities, and supporting context for executive discussions and roadmap alignment.
- • Collaboration extends to marketing-informed campaigns and plays designed to drive product adoption and expansion across your assigned accounts.
- • You will operate within a long-term account assignment model, typically managing 5-50 Enterprise and Commercial-Named accounts with a significant Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) potential ($100K+ ARR).
- • You will own the technical success plan and adoption roadmap for your accounts, influencing pricing, commercial terms, and renewal terms in close partnership with Sales and CS leadership.
- • This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise in data backup, recovery, and resilience, coupled with exceptional soft skills in communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking to ensure customers achieve maximum value from their Veeam investment.
- • You will be a trusted advisor, building strong relationships and acting as the primary technical point of contact for your portfolio of customers.
- • Your efforts will directly contribute to customer retention, growth, and overall satisfaction, solidifying Veeam's position as the Data and AI Trust Company.
- • You will champion best practices in data resilience and security, helping organizations accelerate safe AI at scale by ensuring their data is understood, secured, and resilient.
- • The role demands a proactive, customer-centric approach, focusing on delivering measurable business outcomes through technical expertise and strategic guidance.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years in customer-facing engineering roles focused on data backup and recovery (e.g., Technical Consulting, Pre-Sales SE, Technical Account Manager).
- • Advanced level of English proficiency.
- • Hands-on expertise across operating systems, virtualization, storage, scripting/automation, cloud platforms, and DR&R best practices.
- • Strong experience designing and executing protection plans, migrations, and recovery simulations.
- • VMCE certification required (may be completed post-hire within an agreed timeframe).
