  • • As a Customer Success Manager (Commercial) at AuditBoard, you will be instrumental in fostering and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with our valued commercial clients. Your primary mission will be to ensure these clients not only achieve but consistently exceed their business objectives by leveraging the full potential of the AuditBoard platform. This role is a critical bridge between our innovative product and the success of our customers, demanding a proactive, strategic, and deeply empathetic approach to account management and client advocacy.
  • • You will serve as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial accounts. This involves developing a profound understanding of each client's unique business landscape, their specific challenges within audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec, and their strategic goals. By deeply embedding yourself within their operations, you will identify opportunities to enhance their use of AuditBoard, ensuring maximum return on investment and driving tangible business outcomes.
  • • A core responsibility will be to develop and execute comprehensive success plans tailored to each client. These plans will outline key milestones, adoption strategies, and value realization pathways, ensuring clients are on a clear trajectory towards achieving their desired results. You will proactively monitor client health, identify potential risks or areas of underutilization, and implement targeted interventions to mitigate churn and foster continued engagement.
  • • Staying at the forefront of product evolution is paramount. You will be expected to maintain a deep and current understanding of AuditBoard's features, functionalities, and upcoming releases. This knowledge will be leveraged to educate clients, provide strategic guidance on how to best utilize the platform to address their evolving needs, and champion new capabilities that can further enhance their operational efficiency and strategic advantage.
  • • Issue resolution is a critical component of this role. You will act as a central point of contact for client inquiries and challenges, working collaboratively with our dedicated support, product, and engineering teams to ensure swift, effective, and satisfactory resolutions. Your ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and orchestrate solutions will be key to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and trust.
  • • You will be a vital conduit for customer feedback, actively soliciting insights into their experiences, pain points, and aspirations. This feedback is invaluable and will be systematically gathered, analyzed, and presented internally to influence product roadmap development, service enhancements, and overall company strategy. You will be the voice of the customer within AuditBoard, advocating for their needs and ensuring their perspectives shape our future.
  • • Empowering our clients through education and training is a significant aspect of the role. You will design and deliver engaging 1:many training sessions, webinars, and other educational content. This includes creating resources, sharing best practices, and facilitating knowledge transfer to ensure clients are proficient and confident in utilizing the AuditBoard platform to its fullest extent.
  • • Driving customer retention and expansion will be a key performance indicator. This involves not only ensuring existing clients are successful and satisfied but also identifying and cultivating opportunities for growth within these accounts. Through strategic account planning and a deep understanding of client needs, you will identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities that provide additional value and strengthen our partnership.
  • • Success in this role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational excellence, and exceptional interpersonal skills. You will need to build rapport and trust with stakeholders at all levels, from end-users to C-suite executives, demonstrating the strategic value and ROI that AuditBoard delivers. Your ability to influence, guide, and partner effectively will be crucial to long-term client success and AuditBoard's continued growth.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or a closely related client-facing role within a B2B SaaS environment, with a proven track record of managing complex customer relationships.
  • • Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing role such as customer success, internal/external audit, risk management, compliance, or management consulting, with a focus on solving enterprise-level challenges and driving customer outcomes.
  • • Strong understanding of audit, risk, ESG, or InfoSec domains, and the ability to articulate the value proposition of technology solutions in these areas.
  • • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and present effectively to stakeholders at all organizational levels, including C-suite executives.
  • • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
