đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Customer Success Manager (CSM) at Deel, you will be the primary point of contact and the trusted advisor for a portfolio of our valued clients within the "MM" (Mid-Market) segment. Your core mission is to cultivate strong, enduring relationships, ensuring our clients maximize the value they derive from Deel's comprehensive payroll and HR platform. This role is pivotal in driving customer satisfaction, retention, and identifying opportunities for account expansion, directly contributing to Deel's rapid growth and vision of unlocking global opportunity.
  • • You will be instrumental in building and nurturing genuine connections with clients, acting as their internal advocate and external representative. This involves deeply understanding their unique business challenges, operational workflows, and strategic objectives. By proactively identifying pain points and offering tailored solutions, you will demonstrate Deel's commitment to their success.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will be to guide clients on how to best leverage Deel's platform features and functionalities. This includes driving adoption of new tools and capabilities, ensuring clients are aware of and utilizing the full spectrum of services available to them. Your strategic guidance will empower clients to scale their global teams more efficiently, compliantly, and effectively.
  • • You will be responsible for managing a high volume of small to medium-sized accounts, requiring efficient time management and a systematic approach to client engagement. This involves developing and executing success plans tailored to the specific needs and growth trajectories of each client.
  • • A critical responsibility is to identify and mitigate potential risks that could lead to customer churn. This proactive approach involves closely monitoring account health, recognizing early warning signs, and implementing retention strategies to safeguard client relationships and revenue.
  • • You will serve as the "voice of the customer" within Deel. This entails actively collecting feedback on product performance, operational processes, and emerging client needs. This valuable input will be synthesized and communicated to relevant internal teams, including Product, Engineering, and Operations, to inform future development and service improvements.
  • • Coordinating with various internal departments is essential to ensure the timely and effective resolution of customer requests and issues. You will act as a liaison, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration to deliver a high-quality customer experience.
  • • The role demands a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, akin to a business builder. You will be energized by tackling complex, often ambiguous challenges and driving tangible business impact. This includes not being afraid to "get your hands dirty" to ensure projects are delivered successfully and client needs are met.
  • • You will leverage your analytical skills to draw insights from complex data sets, identify trends, and formulate actionable recommendations. While not necessarily a deep technical expert, you should be comfortable diving into data to understand client usage patterns, identify growth opportunities, and measure the impact of your efforts.
  • • Cross-functional project management will be a key component of your role, requiring you to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders across different teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • • You will be a key contributor to fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation, both for yourself and for your clients, by staying abreast of industry trends and Deel's evolving product offerings.
  • • Ultimately, your success will be measured by your ability to build strong, trust-based relationships, drive customer retention, identify and capitalize on expansion opportunities, and ensure a consistently exceptional customer experience, thereby contributing significantly to Deel's mission and market leadership.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 2+ years of relevant work experience, including significant client-facing experience.
  • • Previous experience in at least one of the following: fast-growth startup, top-tier management consulting, investment banking, or private equity.
  • • Proven ability to build strong relationships, remain calm under pressure, and effectively manage client expectations.
  • • Quantitatively inclined and data-savvy, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
  • • A motivated self-starter with a passionate growth mentality, comfortable in fast-paced, high-responsibility environments.
  • • Demonstrated track record of achievement, delivering quantifiable business impact or quickly assuming significant responsibilities.

  • • Flexibility of remote work, including optional WeWork access.
  • • Opportunity to work at a rapidly growing, globally recognized SaaS company.
  • • Career acceleration in the transformative field of global work.
  • • Comprehensive support for professional development and learning.
