- • As a Cybersecurity Business Systems Analyst II at Banner Health, you will play a critical role in assessing cybersecurity risk, validating control effectiveness, and ensuring policy compliance across complex healthcare technology environments, bridging the gap between technical teams and governance functions to support secure and compliant business solutions.
- • Day to day, you will support process enhancement and redesign efforts, analyze the effectiveness of existing systems and processes, define outcome criteria for analysis, generate actionable metrics from raw data, contribute to research efforts, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local information security laws, and communicate effectively with leaders at all levels of the organization.
- • You will be part of Banner Health’s IT Cybersecurity GRC-Corp team within a nationally recognized healthcare leader named to Fortune’s Most Innovative Companies in America 2025 list for the third consecutive year and Newsweek’s Most Trustworthy Companies in America for the second year in a row, offering a stimulating environment to apply your expertise in support of award-winning patient care.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in applying GRC principles to healthcare IT environments, strengthen your ability to translate technical environments into meaningful risk assessments, enhance your communication and presentation skills across technical and non-technical audiences, and gain experience in medium to large scale project planning and reporting while contributing to the integrity and security of healthcare systems.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in business, cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or a related field
- • Three years of experience in a healthcare or related environment, or an equivalent combination of relevant education, technical, business, and healthcare experience
- • Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of products and other tools depending on position requirements
- • Ability to communicate and interact across facilities and at various levels, including engaging technical and non-technical audiences
- • Certification in at least one of the following areas within one year of entering the position: CISSP, CISA, SSCP, PCI-ISA, CRISC, HCISSP, CompTIA Security+, or other designation by the Information Security Leader
