📋 Description
- • As a DevOps Developer at GoTo, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and optimizing core components of an internal Kubernetes-based observability platform that enables development teams to operate services in a fast-changing cloud-native environment. Your work directly supports the reliability, scalability, and performance of high-traffic production services, ensuring seamless telemetry ingestion, alerting, and observability tooling for internal development teams.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include delivering high-quality software improvements through continuous delivery for critical services, collaborating in an agile, engineering-driven team to design solutions for internal customer needs, contributing to shared code delivery, leveraging and supporting Open Source technologies, participating in platform support and on-call operations while maintaining strong quality standards to ensure reliability and scalability, and advancing the use of AI across the platform by building AI-powered tools and agents that improve investigation, troubleshooting, decision-making, and operational efficiency.

- • In this role, you will have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in cloud-native technologies, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes orchestration, and AI integration within engineering practices. 🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or another relevant field
- • 3+ years of experience in a similar DevOps or software development role within a software engineering team
- • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS/EKS, OCI/OKE), Kubernetes and containerization (e.g., Docker, CRI-O, Containerd), and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Argo, Helm)
- • Practical experience building conversational AI agents using frameworks like Pydantic
- • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is required for permanent positions in Quebec to communicate with local colleagues, partners, and suppliers
