đź“‹ Description
- • As a Data Analyst at Lawhive Inc., you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex financial and operational data into strategic insights that drive decision-making across a fast-growing legal tech innovator backed by top-tier investors and recently secured $40M Series A funding. Your work will directly impact how the company tracks performance, forecasts revenue, and supports high-stakes initiatives like M&A and international expansion, making you a key contributor to Lawhive’s mission of making the law accessible through AI-native innovation.
- • You will own end-to-end revenue and finance analytics, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines using BigQuery, dbt, and Hex, while reconciling complex payment flows across UK and US markets. Your day-to-day includes conducting ad-hoc analyses, developing core financial data models, automating manual spreadsheet-based reporting, and translating finance team needs into technical requirements — ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and actionable insights that shape budgeting, forecasting, and business strategy.
- • You will join a small but ambitious Data and Analytics team within Lawhive Labs, the company’s frontier innovation hub that brings together elite engineering, design, AI, and legal talent to rebuild the legal industry from the ground up. This team partners cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and AI to build a robust analytics foundation, and you’ll have the autonomy to solve meaningful problems while growing your impact across the organisation.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in financial analytics within a high-growth, product-led environment, gaining hands-on experience with modern data stacks (BigQuery, dbt, Hex) and advanced financial modelling. You’ll have the opportunity to expand your scope beyond Finance into product, marketing, and operations analytics as the team scales, positioning you to become a versatile analytical leader in a company at the forefront of legal tech innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in a Data Analytics role with proven exposure to finance or revenue analytics, preferably in a high-growth or product-led organisation.
- • Strong proficiency in SQL for complex querying and data manipulation, combined with advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for financial modelling and ad-hoc analysis.
- • Solid understanding of core financial concepts including gross vs net revenue, deferred revenue, cost allocation, margin analysis, and multi-currency reporting.
- • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- • Proficiency with BI and reporting tools such as Hex, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
- • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities shift rapidly and finance reporting needs are dynamic.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Meaningful early-stage equity in one of Europe’s fastest-growing startups, backed by Google Ventures, Balderton Capital, and TQ Ventures.
- • 33 days’ annual leave (25 days plus bank holidays) plus your birthday off, supporting work-life balance and wellbeing.
- • One month work-from-anywhere budget, enabling flexibility to work remotely from locations of your choice.
- • Pension contribution via Nest, providing long-term financial security.
- • 20% discount on legal fees through Lawhive’s own platform, offering direct access to the company’s services.
- • Top-spec Macbook provided to ensure you have the tools needed for high-performance data work.
- • Regular team-building activities and socials to foster connection and collaboration within a diverse, inclusive culture.
