📋 Description

• As a Data Analyst at Sportygroup B.V., you will mine through petabytes of data to deliver key insights that drive core business decisions, directly influencing product strategy, trading operations, and executive planning through daily-use dashboards and in-depth reports.
• You will play a critical role in maintaining the stability and accuracy of the company’s reporting infrastructure, ensuring consistent, reliable data delivery to stakeholders across product, marketing, and business teams.
• Day to day, you will analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization.
• You will design, define, and monitor core business KPIs to evaluate product and operational performance, translating business questions into structured data analysis in close partnership with product, marketing, and business teams.
• You will deliver clear, concise, and data-driven insights to stakeholders and shareholders through presentations and reports, enabling self-service analytics by developing and maintaining dashboards and reporting frameworks.
• You will conduct ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and emerging business needs, while ensuring data quality and integrity by validating datasets and collaborating with data engineering teams when required.
• You will work within a modern data stack including MySQL, Python, Airflow, AWS, Metabase, Redshift, and Linux, leveraging these tools to build scalable, efficient analytical solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar data-driven role
• Excellent working knowledge of SQL
• Familiarity with Python and a range of BI and data visualization tools
• Strong knowledge of ETL data pipelines and A/B testing principles
• Understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts
