📋 Description

• As a Data Analyst for Big Blue Swim School through GT (Global Talent) Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into strategic insights that drive operational efficiency and business growth across swim school locations in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, and the Netherlands. Your work will directly support data-informed decisions that enhance customer experience, optimize resource allocation, and improve financial performance in a rapidly scaling franchise network.
• You will develop and maintain high-impact dashboards and reports in Evidence BI, ensuring data accuracy, visual clarity, and actionable relevance for stakeholders ranging from franchise owners to executive leadership. This includes designing scalable data models, automating reporting workflows, and establishing governance standards that promote consistency and trust in data across the organization.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with Big Blue’s software engineers, data engineering partners, and business stakeholders to understand evolving analytical needs, translate business questions into technical solutions, and deliver interactive visualizations that uncover trends in enrollment, retention, instructor performance, and facility utilization.
• You will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of BI development — from requirement gathering and data wrangling using SQL and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/BigQuery) to dashboard deployment, user training, and ongoing optimization — while advocating for best practices in data integrity, scalability, and self-service analytics adoption.
• The Analytics & Business Intelligence team at Big Blue Swim School is a growing, cross-functional unit focused on building a data-driven culture in a mission-oriented organization dedicated to child safety, swimming excellence, and community impact. You’ll join a collaborative environment where curiosity is rewarded, and your contributions will directly influence how the company measures success and scales sustainably.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in modern BI platforms, advanced SQL querying, cloud-based data ecosystems, and stakeholder management — gaining hands-on experience in enterprise-scale analytics within a high-growth, franchise-based business model. You’ll also develop strong communication and consulting skills by bridging technical and non-technical teams, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor in data-driven decision-making.

🎯 Requirements

• 2–6 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and BI/dashboard development
• Proficiency in SQL with proven ability to write complex queries from scratch and manipulate large datasets across multiple sources
• Experience with modern BI platforms such as Evidence, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• Experience working in cloud-based data ecosystems (GCP or AWS) and hands-on experience with BigQuery
