- • As a Data Analyst I - AMS at Nordson Health Care Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex, high-volume data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions across multiple Nordson business units. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and data-driven innovation by enabling teams to understand trends, diagnose issues, and optimize processes through advanced analytics and visualization.
- • Day to day, you will design and implement corporate Power BI solutions integrated with Azure services including Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Lake Storage; develop and maintain ServiceNow data to support Data and Analytics (DnA) initiatives; understand and help maintain the corporate Denodo architecture by creating and managing metadata; collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to define business objectives, performance metrics, and data-driven strategies; evaluate ServiceNow issues to identify root causes and recommend solutions for strategic DnA challenges; perform complex data analysis to uncover patterns, diagnose system and process issues, and develop actionable solutions; assess end-to-end processes for enhancement opportunities and build dashboards and reports that deliver clear, impactful insights; and assist business analysts, data analysts, and data scientists in analyzing data to support broader Data Science and Big Data Mining projects.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise-grade BI tools like Power BI, cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, and data virtualization with Denodo, while gaining hands-on experience in solving real-world business problems through data. You will develop strong stakeholder management skills, learn to translate technical findings into business recommendations, and contribute to the automation and scalability of data processes—positioning yourself for growth into senior analytics, data engineering, or data science roles within Nordson’s expanding analytics ecosystem.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or a related field
- • Proven experience working with large-scale datasets, performing data analysis to solve business problems, and presenting insights to diverse audiences across corporate hierarchies
- • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data extraction techniques
- • Hands-on experience with Power BI development and integration with Azure services (Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage)
- • Familiarity with Denodo for metadata management and data virtualization in enterprise environments
- • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional business partners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret both quantitative and qualitative data to drive decisions
