📋 Description

• Lead the design and evolution of enterprise data solutions, defining changes in business processes, database architecture, and data warehouse technologies.
• Design and implement scalable, resilient database solutions using PostgreSQL and SQL Server, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Lead database resiliency, disaster recovery, and failover initiatives to ensure continuous data operations and minimal downtime.
• Develop and maintain enterprise-level data models and Data Lake architectures to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with application architects, Directors, and Senior Managers across Customer Care, Product, and Technology domains to align data strategies with business goals.
• Provide subject matter expertise in data architecture, reporting, analytics, and process optimization across the Technology and Product organization (TAP).
• Drive cross-functional technology initiatives and projects that enhance data infrastructure, reporting capabilities, and business intelligence.
• Apply hands-on experience with AWS, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Data Lake technologies to build robust data platforms.
• Utilize Power BI for developing and maintaining enterprise reporting and analytics dashboards.
• Stay current with emerging data platform technologies such as Astronomer, dbt, or AWS MWAA to evaluate and recommend improvements.
• Support data analytics and reporting solutions to enable data-driven decision-making across departments.
• Operate independently to identify gaps in current data systems and propose architectural improvements.
• Be flexible to work second shifts aligned with 3:30 PM IST to 12:30 AM IST to support global collaboration and operational needs.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of overall IT experience with 2+ years as a Data Architect
• 7+ years of experience with database resiliency, disaster recovery, and failover techniques
• Hands-on experience with Database Architecture, Data Modeling, AWS, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise database and data warehouse solutions at an Architect level
• Experience with Data Lake technologies and proficiency in Power BI
