- • A Data Engineer role at Kpler S.A.S. focused on building and maintaining data pipelines to support the Gas and Power teams in delivering unified, cross-commodity insights for energy transition use cases.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, and optimizing ETL pipelines; integrating data from multiple sources (including storage, pipeline, and consumption datasets); ensuring data quality and reliability; collaborating with data scientists and analysts to enable accurate forecasting models; and maintaining scalable data infrastructure on cloud platforms.

- • In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with large-scale energy data systems, contribute to the energy transition by enabling unified Gas and Power analytics, and grow your expertise in data engineering within a fast-paced, international tech environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and pipeline development
- • Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Apache Airflow, dbt, or similar
- • Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- • Understanding of data modeling principles and experience working with time-series or energy-related datasets
- • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and product engineers
